After the fantastically successful singing workshop at Ashby Arts Festival's Folk on the Farm events, Julie Holland is back with another day of fun-filled harmony singing for all abilities.
Don't worry if you've been told you can't sing. It simply isn't true, everyone can with a little encouragement and you'll get plenty of that! The emphasis will be on having fun and reveling in the sheer enjoyment of hearing your soul sing out in joyous harmony with like minded companions.
We'll be singing traditional folk, world and other popular music and perhaps even trying out some of Julie's own compositions which could be interesting as it is Halloween!
No previous singing experience is necessary. Neither do you need to be able to read music as all parts are taught by ear and you most definitely will NOT be asked to sing solo!
Drinks and light refreshments will be on hand throughout the day, but please bring contributions for a shared lunch.
